Window tinting in the summer is very popular. However, the cold temperatures and the snowy surroundings here in Oswego doesn’t mean you do not need that extra layer of privacy and protection that vehicle window tints give you. In fact, you might need to be tinting your car windows now more than ever. IMPROVE YOUR VISIBILTY VS. GLARE FROM THE SUN AND OTHER CARS’ LIGHTS It’s winter time. You may not feel the sun’s heat compared to the summer, but it is still there. In fact, the sun tends to be lower in the sky during the winter months, therefore, it’s glare can still affect your sight while you’re driving behind the wheel, especially when it’s near or equal your line of sight. “Glare is intensified by the snow collected on roadside because light reflects on white surfaces. This can seriously make driving during the winter more dangerous and tinting your car windows will help reduce the light reflection.” – Carlos Avila Just as you wear sunglasses in the winter, tint is like sunglasses for your car and allows you the driver and the passengers to be more alert on the road, and in turn, avoid accidents. Sun makes your vehicle age! UV rays also make the inside of your vehicle ‘age’ as well. The UV from the sun will make your upholstery, dashboard, and other wood components be prone to breakage as well. Save on fuel cost during the winter During the summer time, tints act as a guard to keep the heat off from penetrating inside the car. One of the main benefits is reducing the heat in the vehicle by blocking the sun’s rays. Did you know that tint retains the heat inside? Tints act like insulating layers by trapping interior heat inside the car during the winter. When the heat hits your window from the outside, the heat travels through the glass and transfers to the air and other objects that may be in contact with the window. This process is called Conduction. Accident Glass Safety Tinted Windows tend to break less. Instead of the window glass shattering everywhere, the tint films keep it together and intact. Broken glass can bring even more harm to the passengers, making it harder to go out the car. Tints also adds thickness to the glass making it stronger, reducing the chances of total wreckage if ever accidents happen. Secure your belongings inside With the holiday shopping, everyone is busy buying presents and leaving them in the cars. While majority of the people are enjoying the festive spirits, some still take advantage of the moment and try to ruin it. Tinted window is much harder to peek inside, break, and steal your belongings. Winter is a good time for deals Premier Tint Pros offers a great discount price for the winter months. That's so cool that tinted windows actually will break less and keeps it intact together. My car is really prone to glare, and it really messes with me when I drive. It seems like I should get my car tinted so that it will be less prone to braking and will reduce the glare.

Well, window tinting is an endeavor that is typically done in the dog days. By doing so, an operative can keep his eyes safe from the sun's glare and make the interior cooler. Likewise, tinting your speed machine during the Jack Frost has its own set of advantages. Tinting brings an extra layer of privacy and protection. Its thermal regulative nature saves fuel, money, and energy. As tinted windows are less susceptible to damage than the normal windows, then a motorist can be safe during an unpredictable collision.

In winter, we normally don't feel the extreme heat of sun. Usually the sun tends to be lower in the sky during winter and therefore sun glare affects our sight while driving behind the wheel especially when it is equal or near the line of sight. Tinted window acts like insulating layer to trap the interior heat inside the car during winter. It saves the fuel cost during winter. The drivers and passengers remain more alert on the road to avoid accidents due to tinted windows.

I bought my first brand new car a few weeks ago and I want to make sure that I keep the vehicle as safe and secure as possible so that I can have peace of mind that it will not get broken into or stolen. It is good to know that window tinting provides a lot of safety because people will not be able to see what is inside my car. Plus, the fact that tinted windows make the glass stronger so the glass is less likely to break would make it safer and more difficult to break into. Thank you for sharing these important benefits in this article!

It got me when you said that window tinting will keep your car in good condition for a long period of time since the UV rays can damage it and make your car old. I will definitely get this done especially that the car that I bought is quite old since it is what I can afford. This will keep it from looking really old in a short period of time.

Retaining heat inside your vehicle as a way to save fuel during the winter season really sounds like a good thing for us. We do a lot of road trips to visit our relatives during the holiday season, so something like this could really help us save some extra cash while we stay on the road. I'll definitely use this when I find an auto window tinting expert from the area that can help me get it installed.

I never took into account the fact that the sun is lower in the sky during the winter months which means that its glare can affect our site when we are driving. In that case, getting a car or truck window tinting service even in this season is a good investment for the drivers. Personally, as long as it will contribute to the safety of my family, I will make sure to invest in something that will keep us from being in an accident such as being blinded by the brightness of the road.
