“Can you tint my windows even though it’s Winter?”
We get this question from our customers in the Oswego area a lot throughout the Winter months. It’s the beginning of winter right now and the temperature is dropping every day. Perhaps you just bought a new car or have Christmas money coming in and you can now afford window tinting and are thinking about getting some privacy or protection from the sun’s UV heat. Most window tinters cannot accommodate tinting windows in the Winter. Window tint film is extremely temperature sensitive, even a few degrees below room temperature makes installation more difficult and can result in a poor quality tint job. The truth is, you can definitely get your windows tinted in the Winter at Premier Auto Tint in Oswego Illinois. In fact, we tint more than 10 cars a day this time a year. The window tinting facilities at our shop in Oswego have been designed with Winter in mind. We have heated, sanitary window tint installation bays to facilitate tinting all year round. The only issue with tinting a car in the Winter is that the curing process is prolonged. After a car is tinted, there is still a residual amount of moisture in between the window pane and the window tint film. This is the reason you are advised not to roll down your windows for the first few days after getting them tinted. In the summer this wait time is 3-4 days, however, because it’s significantly colder and darker throughout the winter, the moisture needs more time to evaporate. Anywhere from 4-7 days is suitable to allow the moisture time to evaporate during colder months. If you have any questions or concerns about window tint for your car in Oswego throughout the winter, feel free to contact us in any way you prefer. These kinds of towing services are always in need and you may be swamped away by a large number of groups offering the services for the same. But, all that one should look for is quality services.

It's good to know that the curing process will be prolonged if you get your car tinted in the Winter. Sadly the Summer is almost over so it will colder weather no matter what. I'll see if I can find a place that can get it done during the Fall but if they can't then I can settle for the Winter.
